Place the cod fillets on a lined baking sheet.
Generously top each fillet with the Parmesan and panko mixture, pressing it down to ensure it adheres well.
Bake the cod in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown. The internal temperature of the cod should reach 145°F (63°C).
Once cooked, remove the cod from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
Plate the cod carefully and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
