Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced ham, and chopped chives to the egg mixture.
Add the diced everything bagels to the mixture and gently stir until all bagel pieces are coated.
Pour half of the casserole mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Place the cream cheese cubes throughout the first layer.
Pour the remaining mixture on top, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
If desired, sprinkle capers on top for added flavor before serving.
Notes
Cut into squares and serve warm on a platter, garnished with additional chives or capers for a pop of color and flavor.
