Instructions
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread a thin layer of strawberry jam at the bottom of the dish.
With one side facing up, arrange a layer of ladyfingers over the jam in the dish.
Spoon half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers and spread evenly.
Evenly distribute half of the sliced strawberries on top of the cream layer.
Repeat the layering process with another layer of ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture and the rest of the strawberries.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for better flavor and texture.
Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves and an extra dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
