Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.
In a large bowl, mix together the honey, sriracha sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
Add the chicken wings to the marinade, tossing them until they are evenly coated. For best flavor, let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours).
Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack on the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are crispy and cooked through.
For an extra crispy finish, switch to broil and broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped green onions for garnish.
Serve the spicy honey lime chicken wings with lime wedges on the side for a zesty kick.
Notes
